What’s our area?
Many of the members of Pink Panthers Explorers live in Davidson’s Mains, Blackhall, Comely Bank and, Craigleith.
What is Explorers?
Scouting for those aged 14-18.
Our programme aims to be fun, challenging activities that develop skills, confidence, leadership and character – by joining with friends to do new things.
Explorers can complete Platinum and Diamond Chief Scout’s awards and the King’s Scout Award, usually in parallel to the Bronze, Silver and Gold DofE awards.
Subs
Subs are £40 per term – we use an online payment system – we will send an email requesting subs.
Subs covers our main costs which are capitation to the Scout Association (which is mainly insurance for activities), rental of the halls that we use, badges, materials and activities. Where we undertake significant activities off-site we may need to make an additional charge.
The cost of camps and other nights away, is an additional cost for those who take part.
